Feb 2005: COCC rolls-out Enterprise Spyware protection to all faculty/staff workstations.

Jan 2005: Implemented an internet only network for wireless and wired use of personal computers on the COCC campus.

Sept 2004: COCC begins pushing Windows Updates automatically to faculty/staff workstations.

May 2004: COCC began using a Barracuda device for processing all incoming mail to block known, detectable virus messages as well as known SPAM from ever reaching our inboxes. For more information about the Barracuda device click here.

On COCC workstations we are continuing to use Authentium's Command AntiVirus software.

Although most virus messages should no longer reach your email inbox, please continue to be careful regarding opening attachment in messages that you receive.
